Fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked food!! We were immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant, and the service was A+ from ALL of the staff!! Our server was very attentive and one of the most genuine, friendly person who we've encountered in a while. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was perfect for a good dinner/dining experience. We will definitely return to Duke's soon.🙂👍🏽

Another enjoyable evening at Dukes! Started with a summer special blackberry margarita—good pour! We got some delicious combos with nice portion sizes. I had a good size bowl of clam chowder, although it could have been hotter. Our daughter’s Cajun chicken corn chowder was spicy and the sourdough bread was warm and served with soft butter! The main dishes included crispy fish and well-seasoned fries and my fish taco had an excellent ratio of toppings to fish. Our server was very attentive, clearing plates and refilling our water and other beverages. Definitely recommend!

The food was very good! We went during happy hour. The sourdough offered was exceptional. Soft, fluffy, and great flavor. We got the salmon bites, crab dip, and prawns as appetizers. For the mains we shared the seafood lobster Mac and cheese, the chowder, and a salad! My only complaint it was just super overpriced for what you get. Probably would never go back. Now everything is wild caught and local/ semi local so I get things can cost more but it was just not for me again.

This was my wife's and I first time to this Dukes restaurant. We have been to the Tacoma waterfront restaurant plenty of times, but this Dukes is a step above it's sister restaurant. From the salad to the clam chowder and then the Fish & chips, they were all perfectly seasoned and hit the taste buds just right, leaving a smile on both of us. We were expecting the usual flavor, being a regular to Tacoma Dukes. So it was a surprise when we both made the same comment of how good the food tasted here. We plan on a return trip to Kent for another pleasant dinner. Oh, and don't forget the service. Our waitress was also amazing. Only thing I wish I did was to take a photo for this review as I wasn't planning to write this. Definitely a goto spot, especially pregame for Thunderbirds hockey!

Absolutely amazing! I ordered a margarita, sweet soup, salad, crab non-cakes, and the Betty Boop cookie. Nothing disappointed! The soup was delicious with an unexpected sweetness due to the sweet potatoes. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve had coast to coast! It fell apart in a good way. Dessert was a skillet cookie and brownie with ice cream. It was a little over baked but delicious! I sat at the bar and the staff were wonderful. The kitchen was a little far on the food to which the staff asked if I wanted to hold it slow things down. No worries as it worked out. Parking was ok but definitely busy. I’m guessing it can be tricky but I didn’t seem to have an issue.

Consistent delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, great service. I love when I don’t have to request refilling my water. The server came bay and refilled my cup every time I had my glass half full. Calamari was great! My fish taco was delicious. The salmon pesto was top notch. I love the crisp edges on the salmon. I would definitely recommend and I’ll come back again.

I gotta tell you, this was a very unexpected surprise! Though I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant, I feel obligated to do so today. Based solely on the name I expected great food but of course based on its location, I expected less than as far as service, atmosphere, and ambiance. Let's start with the location. I find Kent square to be quaint. And, Dukes location within Kent square to be choice. The atmosphere was dark and Moody, just the way I'd like it. And the service, was what brought it all together. Our server, let's call him. Was able to satisfy a request that was, off the menu. My wife and I inquired on getting a flight of beers which Dukes does not do. Eddie, not only was able to accommodate our request but did so with flair. He was able to provide us a flight of eight beers on two fish-shaped trays. They made the experience all the more seeing as how Dukes is a seafood restaurant after all. The flight of beers were excellent and it gave us a good idea of what to order as far as drinks next time we come. Now for the bad, the food was just okay. The presentation of the food again was excellent. However, my Duke's cheeseburger which was supposed to be medium came well done and, though my wife 's stated that her halibut was very good. I observed that she only ate about half. However, even with the food only getting four stars, I got to tell ya! The service made all the difference. Overall the experience at Duke's, excellent! I will return in es that a second trip will prove my burger to have been a mistake.

We have not been to Dukes in many years and I was actually pleasantly surprised by the menu and atmosphere. I can't believe it took us this long to return! The food was amazing. we ordered a soup and salad combo, salmon salad and salmon pasta. the portions were on the large side, you can certainly take half home or split it. Service was on point, very polite and attentive. I liked water cups as there are not the typical water cups, adds a nice color pop to the table. Definitely recommend this place

We went out for dinner after the movies. Our server Eddie was great accommodating a romantic table by the window with beautiful holiday lights view of the street, he made our drinks, we got whiskey and is the best ever whiskey and is strong. The appetizer crab cakes the texture the flavor all together was heaven delicacy for the palate. We ordered the lobster tail which was perfectly moist cooked and the potatoes to the perfection and the zucchini with chard steam crunchy excellent. Highly recommend for great food and great strong drinks, also for atmosphere and great service. Thanks Eddie!

I needed to eat lunch really quickly and get going, and when I told my server so, she brought out my lunch in 5 minutes! And it was really, really good. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. The menu is quite extensive, but of course, if you're there, go for the seafood. My crab cakes were amazing. I'll go back for sure to have a more leisurely meal.
